Originally a network for Latina faculty, La Colectiva now includes women faculty of color. Its purpose is to enhance the professional development of members, emphasizing tenure and promotion, research, and teaching. A central part of La Colectiva involves peer-to-peer mentoring through collaborative research on topics of mutual interest. It also sponsors a series of public lectures intended to inform the broader community. For more information please contact Valerie Martinez-Ebers (Valerie.Martinez-Ebers@unt.edu).
