The Salute to Faculty Excellence Awards Dinner and Ceremony was held on September 26, 2014 at Apogee Stadium.  The 'green tie affair' honored faculty members for receiving tenure and promotion, emeritus faculty status and top awards including three cash awards funded by the UNT Foundation, a co-sponsor of the faculty showcase. The UNT Foundation presented the three top faculty awards to

UNT strives to promote research, scholarship, and creative activities that engage faculty, research scientists, graduate and undergraduate students, and external collaborative partners to their fullest potential. The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) supports faculty research by offering comprehensive services to advance research projects at every stage of development. To facilitate this aim, the Office of the Vice President of Research is restructuring the Limited Submissions process.

Information Technology Shared Services (ITSS) soon will launch a simpler and more modern portal for students, faculty and staff across the UNT System. As part of the PeopleSoft Upgrade Project, ITSS is redesigning the my.unt.edu, my.hsc.unt.edu and mylaw.untdallas.edu portals to ensure the portals are more suited for conducting business on mobile devices. The portals at each system campus will function similarly but each will include its own specific branding.
