A University faculty member who has shown sustainability and significant contributions to lowering our environmental impact by making substantial contributions or change within their department to increase the sustainably mission of the university is recognized with this award during Earth Week. Earth Week Award winners are people who have shown innovation and creativity, as well as leadership in the path to a Sustainable UNT. The recipient will receive a $60 recycled glass plaque with their name and year inscribed.
All members of the university may nominate the faculty member they feel is most deserving of this award and the committee in the department of sustainability will recognize award winners with the Earth Week Award at the International Education, Sustainability and Diversity Awards Banquet.
