Award

The student government association presents faculty with their Honor Professor awards at the Honors Day ceremony every year.  Departmental awards are reported to the association in order to make sure all faculty who are chosen are recognized with a plaque and at the ceremony. The Awards for 2013-14 will also be presented at the Salute to Faculty Excellence dinner and ceremony.

Selection Process/Eligibility

Members of the UNT faculty, staff and student body are invited to submit nominations for the awards. The University Honors and Recognition Committee will determine based on the award information sent by departments whether an award has been approved for Honors Day presentation.
